让沟通更委婉的三个句型
如果英语初学者最容易犯一个社交错误，那就是说话太直接。中文里我们有"麻烦你"、"方便的话"、"不知道能不能……"这些柔性表达，英语里同样有对应的一组句型。用直译中文的方式说英语，听起来会像在发命令。学会这三个委婉句型，你的英语沟通立刻上一个台阶。

两列意思一样，但右边听起来尊重对方的时间和意愿，左边像下命令。
句型一：Would you mind + doing...?
这是英语里最常用的委婉请求句式之一。字面意思是"你介意做……吗？"，相当于中文的"你方便……吗？"或"麻烦你……"。
Would you mind opening the window? It's a bit stuffy in here.
你方便开下窗吗？这儿有点闷。
Would you mind sending me that file when you have a moment?
方便的时候能发我那份文件吗？
Would you mind if I borrowed your charger?
介意我借用一下你的充电器吗？
怎么回答 Would you mind？这是最容易出错的点。"No" = 我不介意 = 你可以做。"Yes" = 我介意 = 你不能做。所以对方在答应时会说 "No, not at all." 或 "Of course not." ——这是在说"不介意"，而不是"不答应"。如果真介意会说 "Actually, I'm sorry but..."
升级版：Would you mind terribly if...?
更礼貌、更正式：
Would you mind terribly if I took tomorrow off? I know it's short notice.
你介意我明天请假吗？我知道通知得有点突然。
句型二：I was hoping / I was wondering if...
用过去时表达现在的请求，这是英语委婉的核心机制之一。把时态往后拉一步，让请求听起来不那么"立刻、强制"。

I was hoping you could take a look at my resume.
我本来想请你帮我看一下简历的。
I was hoping to leave a bit early today, if that's okay.
我今天想早点走，如果可以的话。
I was hoping we could reschedule for next week.

句型三：Could you possibly...?
在 Could you 中间加一个 possibly，语气立刻从"普通请求"升级为"委婉请求"：
Could you possibly send that over by end of day?
你能在今天下班前发过来吗？（隐含：我知道你可能很忙，不勉强）
Could you possibly keep an eye on my bag for just a moment?
你能帮我看一眼包吗？就一分钟。

在请求句中加入这些副词都可以让语气软下来：
