"无论…" — No matter how / what / when... 让步句型
中文说"无论/不管"，英语有两个语法工具可以接：No matter + wh-词，或者直接用 wh-ever 系列词（whatever、however 等）。两种表达可以互换，意思完全一样。把这个句型练熟，你的表达范围立刻拓宽一截。
No matter + 疑问词：五个维度
No matter 后面可以接五个 wh-词，分别对应五种不同的让步：
how — 无论多么……（程度）
No matter how hard you try, don't give up.
不管多难，都别放弃。
No matter how late it gets, I'll wait for you.
不管多晚，我都等你。
No matter how much it costs, we need to fix this.
不管花多少钱，这个必须修好。
what — 无论什么……（事物）
No matter what happens, I'll support you.
无论发生什么，我都支持你。
No matter what anyone says, be yourself.
不管别人说什么，做自己。
when / where / who — 时间、地点、人物
No matter when you arrive, we'll be there.
无论你什么时候到，我们都会在。
No matter where you go, I'll find you.

wh-ever 系列 — 更简洁的替代表达
把 No matter 替换成 -ever 词，意思不变，语气更偏书面。日常口语里两者都能用：

wh-ever 系列还可以引导名词性从句。例如 "You can invite whoever you want"（你想邀请谁都可以）。这时 whoever = anyone who，不能换成 no matter who。这是 wh-ever 比 no matter 多出来的一个用法。
主将从现 — 让步句的隐藏规则
当让步从句指向将来的事情时，从句用一般现在时，不能用 will：
X 错误
No matter what he will say, I won't change my mind.
O 正确
No matter what he says, I won't change my mind.

Wherever you will go, I'll follow you.
O 正确
Wherever you go, I'll follow you.
这条规则和条件句一样——从句用现在时，主句用将来时。常见出错场景就是下意识在从句里加了 will。
句尾用法 — 先表态，再说条件
口语里经常把 no matter 从句扔到句尾，先说自己态度，再补让步条件：
I'll finish this job, no matter how long it takes.
我会做完，不管需要多久。
She always stays positive, no matter what.
她总是很乐观，无论如何。
We're going to make this work, no matter the cost.
我们一定会做成，不管付出什么代价。注意——no matter 也可以直接接名词，不加 wh-词。
